The Aims of Threatz

At Threatz we are not aiming to duplicate the work of conventional contingency companies. While these we feel do a good job in helping business and governments plan for individual threats, there are very few groups looking to understand and integrate across the breadth of what can threaten a business or company.

In particular we feel that a sense of perspective, foresight and coherence are key in making the right decisions. It is not possible to do everything and with greater understanding of commonalities and interconnections better and more complete solutions can be identified.

We also believe that wider understanding and involvement in assessing significant threatz to the population can help in everyone taking the right actions to head off potential disaster. Therefore we feel it is important that free and open access to a broad selection of our understanding is maintained, and that we are able to listen and take note of the views expressed. We would like to feel that we are perfect and all knowing, but in reality we realise the limits on our knowledge and the importance of different viewpoints in successfully forecasting future threatz, change and the reaction to it.
